Description:cycling trek starting from Mumbai on the 24th night (dec-08) and finishing on the 28th at Sangli.The objective of the expedition was to cover the 11 'Maruti' temples built during the time of Shivaji. It's said that these temples were Information gathering hubs or Spy Hubs that kept a watch on enemy proceedings, built up and on hostile territories.The letters sent to Shivaji from these hubs were encoded/encrypted.
